Pranay Sharma is a UX/UI designer and creative strategist with a passion for crafting seamless, user-centered digital experiences. Born and raised in Wappingers Falls, New York, he is currently a senior at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), majoring in Communications, Media & Design with a minor in Information Technology & Web Science (thats a lot of big words I know). His work merges technology, creativity, and user experience to design solutions that are both appealing and impactful.

Growing up, Pranay was always fascinated by new tech and its intuitive evolution. Sketching and reimagining new smartphones by incorporating the sleekest designs, eventually leading to an entire fake ecosystem of devices being drawn. These devices would be packed with as many features as possible, some not even being technologically possible….like a holographic keyboard one time. All this while prioritizing appealing interfaces and ways to make digital tools more efficient. This innate curiosity led him to explore the intersection of design and technology, ultimately driving his passion for UX/UI and human-centered design.

Data-Driven Decision Making

Every decision in design should be guided by data and research. Understanding user behavior through analytics, usability studies, and direct feedback leads to better outcomes. A design that evolves through iteration and refinement is one that truly serves its audience.

Aesthetic and Functional Balance

Aesthetic appeal is important, but it should never overshadow usability. A well-crafted interface must feel natural, fluid, and effortless. When design is done right, it becomes invisible—allowing users to focus on their goals without distraction.

Clarity and Simplicity

Clarity and simplicity are the foundation of effective communication. Whether it’s a digital experience, a branding project, or an interactive interface, reducing complexity and emphasizing what matters most ensures that the message is clear and impactful.
